Sign warning trucks that Interstate 68 West will traverse a steep grade 3 miles ahead. Trust me, this grade is not to be taken lightly.  (Photo taken 4/11/15).

With the grade now under 3 miles ahead, trucks are required to stop at the top 2 miles ahead.  (Photo taken 4/11/15).

The mandatory truck turnout ahead is also used as a brake check area and DOT inspection area. All trucks over 26,000 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) must stop.  (Photo taken 4/11/15).
